I purchased https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08KPD5S82 - which worked fine. It did backfeed to the PC I'm controlling but that didn't have nay issues.

That said, I took the USB Male-Male cable (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B002KKZRYM) and used a sharp knife to slice open the outer sheath and then cut the red cable. Verified that there was no power anymore and pikvm still has full control.
