So far I couldn't really find any on the reviews that would deter me away from purchasing it.

Take Amazon reviews with a few pounds of salt.

I tested the smaller version of this light and here is a shot of it off my spectrometer. The smaller one had a draw of 55 watts from the wall.

The light you linked to should be adequate. Most all the claims about it on that Amazon link should not be taken seriously (it does not go to 380 nm, for example, nor would it need to). This is a common type of mass produced light and people then just have their own label slapped on. I doubt that's a true Cree COB.

This light is not UL listed or "approved".

I would not bother with that strip and just get a white one.

The adapter has an output rated for 12 Volts x 2Amps = 24 Watts

Many white LED strips will have much more power. Some are closer to 60 watts.

The adapter puts out a LOT of heat

If this is a 24 watt adapter and you are drawing 40 watts then you need to unplug this and get a different adapter. You have a potential fire hazard going on here.

This is going to do well for your seedlings. You're going to want to get that light about 4 inches away or so.

This is a popular UFO that I have tested for safety and performance, and will work well with a five gallon bucket. I would not use it for more than 1 square foot.

Thanks. I only started looking at those strip lights because of this thread.

By grow lights you're talking about something like this UFO LED right?

Cancel the order. I don't recommend this light since they are particularly inefficient. It's a square foot light that will be too big for a five gallon bucket and not enough light for a tote or brute.

Just get a UFO light if you only want to spend $50 or so. I have tested the light below and it will be plenty for a five gallon bucket.

This post you linked is extremely helpful. Especially when considering safety, which is one of my most important factors to consider. You also mention this light in your post:
https://www.amazon.com/Growstar-Spectrum-Switch-Flowering-Growing/dp/B07312WKX2

I am also using that light as well in my tests. As well as:
https://www.amazon.com/Growstar-Spectrum-Greenhouse-Gardening-Flowering/dp/B07315FTRS/ref=pd_di_sccai_3/143-9190231-7816429?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B07315FTRS&pd_rd_r=a27301d0-121d-48f6-9b76-593d1b7c5d24&pd_rd_w=cPvDX&pd_rd_wg=Baskv&pf_rd_p=c9443270-b914-4430-a90b-72e3e7e784e0&pf_rd_r=NST8GQE661VNTAAM5MPC&psc=1&refRID=NST8GQE661VNTAAM5MPC

As I said, the yield results are nearly identical, but more testing is needed. ALL of these lights will burn the plants if they get too close, so I have laser cut a shield out of transparent acrylic and placed it 4 to 6 inches from the canopy of the pants in my lighting enclosure. That has dramatically cut down on light burn. This was one of the reasons I posed the question about lighting.

Judging by your past post, you obviously have extensive experience in this area. Based on the lights you have tested, in your opinion what is the best light considering price you would recommend in a small enclosed space like a bucket?

Also, I will be digging into this article this weekend regarding this topic:
