You need the second one, but get a cheaper generic one. The 40 dollar Microsoft one works perfectly fine but you can find a way better version for cheaper. Here's what you want: https://www.amazon.com/Generic-Wireless-Gaming-Receiver-Xbox/dp/B01JC68MHU/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_147_t_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=N8DAK0475PDXEDD9NXQB
You just have to download the drivers which here is a video on how to do that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AaqFQkSrikA
Hope it works!
I've found a pretty good deal for a guitar, whole new one in the original packaging for 24 euros including shipping lovely deal.
Though i am quite sketched out about all of those receivers... i also found this one
think you could help?

I bought and use this with the same exact controller.
When you plug it in, it won't be immediately recognized by Windows. It'll be an unknown device.
Just open device manager, right click on the unknown device, and update driver.
Search for the driver, select it from a list of windows devices, choose Xbox 360 devices, then Xbox 360 wireless receiver. It'll ask if you're super sure. Hit yes.
Just got this: ShoppingOnBed Wireless USB Gaming... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JC68MHU?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
It works perfectly fine for Clone Hero with Les Paul and World Tour guitars. The only thing is when you set this up, you have to go to device manager, select the unknown device which is the receiver. Then you have to manually set the drivers for the device as "Xbox 360 Wireless Reciever" drivers in device manager.
