Lots of great ideas were noted in your other thread here:

Our voice/memory does change over time. I give my lights and wall switches names. Nato Alphabet (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie), but the sound is clear and unique. The name "office lamp" is easier to remember, but Google picks up Foxtrot. Google is pretty good at recognizing my voice, but it also reminds me to speak with intent.

I like the motion sensor (which works with home automation).

Things like a dark hallway are harder to navigate at night.

I did a silly thing, stood up, and pulled off my hoodie. No visual queues, so over I fell. Felt like an idiot as I can stand on one foot and close my eyes. Yet, it was the motion of pulling off the hoodie and not having a visual, down I went. Lighted pathways are good.
