If you're on somewhat of a budget, either a Blue Yeti or a Blue Snowball (both with a pop filter! ) are great ways to go. I use a Blue Yeti in my videos and for $100, I couldn't be happier with it. It works incredibly well, and is something I'd recommend to anybody who doesn't make a living off YouTube. (In that scenario, there are some higher quality mics and mic setups you can get, but they can cost upwind of $200 at a minimum.)
Keyboard: Razor Blackwidow Chroma
Mouse: Razor Deathadder
Microphone: Blue Yeti (out for repair right now)
Headphones: Astro A40 with mixamp
I've had my eye on the blue yeti for years: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002VA464S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_ipe5DbA2FEYMN
I've heard good things about it, and since it can do multiple styles of pickup you may find other uses for it too.

Yep! I was surprised it went so quickly. The original blue yeti goes on sale too in about an hour and a half!
Apparently the Yeti Snowball goes on sale at the exact same time, too!
you should get a USB mic then. otherwise you're going to bring your budget up quite a bit between the mic and an interface / preamp.
check out these (searched usb microphone on amazon):

i'd recommend one of the Blue's, or the last one, the ATr2500.
While that is a great Mic, It seems like the OP is looking for a more "Plug n Play" device. If he got the SM57 he'd have to buy a converter or go through an interface in order to record. The SM57 is for more seasoned and experienced singers.
To start out, the Blue Snowball is something that tons of people use. It's cheap, easy, and sounds pretty good. HOWEVER! I'd recommend if you're going to go with a Blue USB mic for recording, go with the Blue Yeti. It's a tad out of your price range but the extra $20 or so is worth it. That extra $20 makes an unreal difference in audio quality and durability. Please look into it.
They have the silver one coming up in an hour (9:50am pst). Will likely be the same price.
The black one keeps going in and out of sold out status, could probably still get it.

This is pretty great and at a better cost, but you'll have to do some magic in sound mixing because it may be a bit quiet: http://www.amazon.com/Behringer-C-1U-Condenser-Microphone-Cardioid/dp/B001QXCYZY/ref=sr_1_1?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1360408988&sr=1-1&keywords=Behringer+C-1+USB
I've assumed you're looking for a USB mic here by the way. The amp that you'd need for traditional microphones would cost you around a $100, but you can get better gain with them, and an equivalent mic that doesn't have USB is usually slightly cheaper, so that's stuff to keep in mind.
have fun recording.
I'm currently running with a Blue Yeti. Once it finally kicks the bucket I'm going to be switching over to an Audio Technica AT2020.
I only very recently started using a pop filter (the same one that you link in the OP) and arm stand (also a NEEWER stand). Since switching over I've noticed a pretty marked increase in audio quality. The pop filter helps a surprising amount. I'm definitely liking my current setup more than just having the yeti sitting on my desk in front of m.e
Yep! I was shocked. But the original blue yeti goes on sale in about an hour and a half!
Apparently the Yeti Snowball goes on sale at the exact same time, too!
Apparently it sold out SUPER quickly. However, the original silver Blue Yeti is going on sale at 12:50 est. (About 1.5 hours from now).
Yup. I used a http://www.amazon.com/Blue-Microphones-Yeti-USB-Microphone/dp/B002VA464S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1438260367&sr=8-1&keywords=blue+yeti to record in a sound booth made of pillows and cardboard boxes (read up on sound waves and how to record professionally) and edited with Audacity. Just do a bit of googling and you'll find the right compression and reverb filters to give your voice that steady, uniform, narrator feel all the way through. It took me about 2 months to record and edit, though it might've gone quicker if I didn't have noisy roommates and a noisier central air.
