Quick and easy to install (maybe ten or fifteen minutes out of the box.) Fair amount of noise above 30mph though, so if you're not a fan of wind whistle, maybe not a great option... They do seem a bit higher than more expensive options, but maybe I'm wrong there. (I have little experience with roof racks other than on my husband's Impreza, and his Thule bars are super streamlined.)

That being said, they seem sturdy enough, and we had zero issues attaching the Thule Sidekick cargo box. We didn't load it with anything heavy though, mostly sleeping bags, some small propane tanks, air mattress... The weight limit was the same as the factory bars, I think, but again, we didn't really test it.

I bought these MotorFansClub Cross Bars I used it once to drive from upstate NY to Canada to carry sets of snowboard and skis. Everything fit fine and want too noisy. I did lose about 15mpg though
