Thank you.

For Methylfolate I am taking Thorne 5-MTHF 1 mg.

I've switched prenatals a few times. I started out with Garden of Life Vitamin Code then switched to Smarty Pants then Pink Stork. I liked Vitamin Code as it seems very balanced, as are each I've tried, but couldn't always remember to take it 3x a day. Smarty Pants is actually 4 gummies a day but I thought gummies would be easier because I wouldn't put it off if I didn't have water on hand, which is how the Vitamin Code often got pushed off, I'd think I'd have time in an hour or so to get some water & take it then I just didn't. I was better at taking the gummies than the pills 3x a day but would still often miss one (I know I can probably take them all at once but I feel that'd mean less absorption overall). Pink Stork is 2x a day which is much more manageable for me to take at regular intervals at this time because I just have to remember some time in the morning & sometime in the evening.

I think it's important to find one that fits well into your life (but includes folate or methylfolate instead of folic acid). I know the Smarty Pants gummies are great for a lot of people who don't care for the horse pill prenatals and I may switch back to those once we're through our busy season at work (I work in the accounting department of a large law firm whose fiscal year follows the calendar year so the last quarter of the year through January is very busy/hectic).

Health Optimal Prenatal

Thank you so much, but that ended up having too much iron for me. I'll be taking SmartyPants gummies and supplementing B12 on top.
