I got these when I first started taking group lessons. I was skating on them anywhere from 2 to 5 hours a week and they lasted 8 months! I learned Adult 1-4 in them & spins, bunny hops, side-toe-hops, spirals. They are comfortable, with a small toe pick for beginners, but they are stiff enough to last you a while- especially if you are just skating recreationally.

The only downside is that the blade comes PERMANENTLY mounted, so if you have feet issues where you'll need the blade repositioned they might not be for you.
