This one claims to strip hdcp but as I dont have one I cant test it. But Amazon has a pretty lenient return policy so you can always return it if you dont get what you want..
I have a splitter and it works fine on the 6k. The splitter is this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DQBY5TX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I had the same problem but worked out a solution. It works most of the time but it isn't perfect. I had to buy these:

and

The issue I have is sometimes both devices need to be unplugged and plugged back in to get the HDMI connection to work. But otherwise, I have no issues.
Edit: You don't have to use that specific convertor. I see it's out of stock at the moment.
Edit2: You likely wouldn't need the splitter if you don't need a separate signal to let other people watch the TV at the same time you are using the Slingbox. I take this back, you still need the splitter.
I did buy a cord style HDMI splitter rather than one of the box ones that have 2 input and 1 output.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06VX1PKQ7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It states that it "will not bypass HDCP" but is the exact one used in multiple videos of people doing so. Did they have to remove that option and no longer sell the HDCP bypass version? Or am I reading this wrong?
