Not always, lol. https://smile.amazon.com/MMLLZEL-Frying-Household-Non-stick-Dual-purpose/dp/B0BRYSWSSG/ref=sr_1_11

But generally, yes. The premium pans aren't on amazon, though. I do see some listings for Finex, but it would be better to order from the Finex website. A lot of pirated goods get sold on amazon. It's pretty bad there. This is about shoes, but I'm sure it could happen with cookware: https://www.cnbc.com/2016/07/20/birkenstock-quits-amazon-in-us-after-counterfeit-surge.html

If you don't want to drop triple digits on Finex, Stargazer, Butter Pat, Field, or Smithey, keep an eye out for a nice vintage pan. Prices for Griswold and Wagner tend to be inflated, but you can get a bargain on other brands or unmarked iron. And then there's Lodge. Lodge is heavy and rough, but your eggs will slide and the skillets wear like, well, iron. Plus you can grab one at your local Walmart and avoid shipping costs.
I don't think you're just paying for the name with the premium stuff. I do love my Butter Pats. They're light, they heat exceptionally evenly and there's a lot of crafting that goes into them. They're hand poured and it takes 21 days to make a pan. But I have some vintage stuff and some Lodge stuff too. It's all good.
