No. Avoid cheap suitcases and all in ones or anything with the same cheap $5 mechanism.

VPRO 3100 $99 $49 on sale is a good enough step up from the cheapo suitcase player.

Plus a pair of powered speakers if you don't already have any speakers.

Or even lower cost options that are still decent enough to start with:

The small platter is the least of the issues with those type of cheapest table top or all in one turntables with built in speakers.

For a low budget consider a better $99 turntable on sale for $49 plus a better pair of passive speakers.

VPRO 3100 has a full size platter, is semi automatic and adds a diamond tip stylus, an MM moving magnet cartridge and an RIAA phono preamp, all of which the cheap Udreamer lacks.

Plus powered speakers with audio cable input for the turntable and Bluetooth for streaming digital audio:

It's done, toast, now you have an excuse to get a proper turntable.

If you need to start lowest budget:

VPRO 3100 $99 $49 on sale is a good enough step up from the cheapo suitcase player.

Or can you have a larger $105 to $200 budget for the turntable?

For $83 they are a lower cost alternative to the also basic entry level Edifier R1280 series speakers. Maybe they have similar sound quality to the Edifiers, maybe they don't.

More low cost starter powered speakers options, 3.5" or 4" for a small room or desktop setup or 5.25" for a small to medium size room:

No remote:

  • Larger 5.25" Saiyin $69 has subwoofer output.

The cheap speakers are the most limiting factor of the Crosley C62.

If you need to start low budget $115 to $140:

  • VPRO-3100 $129 $49 turntable.
  • Plus compact 4" Bestian $79 $65 or 3.5" Edifier $79 or 4" 1byOne $99 $89 powered speakers with Bluetooth for a small size room.

If low on budget don't pay $50 extra to have Bluetooth in the turntable.

Connect the turntable to a pair of low cost compact starter speakers with an included audio cable.

That's not worth $300 and connect the turntable to speakers with an audio cable, not Bluetooth.

If you need to stay low budget then $115 to $140 options that are decent enough to start with:

It's not. What cartridge and tonearm would you even try to install? Also, you would still be stuck with the cheap motor and small plastic platter.

The Journey and ITVS-750 seem to both have the same inexpensive mechanism.

The ITVS-750 may have a better built in speaker so it sounds at least better than the smaller suitcase player.

The sound quality of both of them is limited by the inexpensive ceramic cartridge.

Make sure the cue lever is down all the way. The bass heavy records won't skip on a better turntable with a better tonearm. The small bottle of cleaner may not do much, especially without a full rinse. Full soak wet clean to clean out the grooves and make sure it's not dirty records causing skipping.

If you are low on budget but want better playback and sound quality then get a low cost component turntable and a pair of low cost starter powered speakers.

VPRO 3100 $49 on sale from $99 has a full size platter, is semi automatic and adds a diamond tip stylus, an MM moving magnet cartridge and an RIAA phono preamp, all of which the Journey+ lacks.

Plus powered speakers with audio cable input for the turntable and Bluetooth for streaming digital audio:
