I’d advocate for both, if you can swing it.
I bought these in 2016 (used to do fitnessblender) and they’ve held up well. I also have a pair of 8 and 12 lb dumbbells that are nice for quick transitions.

With this equipment, you can do basically the entire workouts on the sheet I made minus the dips which I bought another piece of equipment for because I love dips.
