Is this the only wall you have available for the TV? It just looks odd hanging there without anything anchoring it below. If you don't have another arrangement that will work, I would put a thin console table under it, one that the cable box can sit on. You could also buy cord hiders like these and then paint them the wall and trim color to blend in, but you're still going to have that cable box sitting there.
