I purchased that exact splint and found it left me with too much thumb mobility.

I like this Aircast brace, which keeps my thumb and wrist immobilized and has a built-in compression sleeve. It's fantastic. I'm now 6 months into recovery and I wear this just at night now. But when I first got it and put it on I just said AAaaaaaaaah, it felt so right. Get it.

And this splint is great during the day. Total thumb immobilization, wrist mostly immobilized and fingers free.

This flexible brace for washing dishes and inevitable household chores. I only washed flat dishes and cleaned flat surfaces for quite a while. Hang out to dry. Best scenario is get someone else to do all chores.

That's my arsenal. I feel like a poster child for recovery from DQV so far. I messed up recovery from Achilles Tendonitis years ago leaving it permanently damaged and I resolved to do this right. REST REST IMMOBILIZE and REST!

Yes! I've significantly improved and just wear it to sleep now.
