Would using this kind of recorder instead of a mixer and hooking the lav mics in with 3.5mm-to-XLR adapters fix the voltage problem? It looks it it would at least record as multiple tracks instead of mixing everything together, if I'm not mistaken?

Or could I just buy USB lav mics instead of 3.5mm ones then plug them into a USB hub and record multiple tracks straight to Audacity that way?

All I really want is to record multiple lav mics to multiple tracks simultaneously with good audio quality.
