but do you need some sort of device that can ready the temp probe?

as i talked to a sales rep for.....thermoworks? they told me some stats about these kind of probes. they have 2 or 3 temp ratings

• ok sustained temp for the probe end (the long solid metal part)
• ok sustained temp for the probe joint (where the threaded part is that goes from probe end, to the wire)
• ok FLASH temp for probe

wait.....SR800? where/how are you going to insert this temp probe?
