To connect to the interface the best way would be to run a pair of TRS cables.
To connect them to a TV you’ll have to use a 3.5mm to stereo RCA cable (assuming your TV has 3.5mm out). Not ideal, since the analog audio outputs on TV’s tend to sound not great, but it will be way better than your built in TV speakers. If the sound this way is no good (meaning worse than what you’re getting when you use it with the computer) and you want an improvement, you could get a basic generic optical DAC like this one and go optical from the TV to that, and RCA from that to the speakers.
As for living room use… just pay attention to how they sound. If the sound is getting distorted or you hear any kind of popping sound or scratchy sound, back off on the volume.
