If the turntable is properly set up then the stylus shouldn't jump out of the run out groove. You did a cartrdige alignment with the correct tonearm protractor? Check the tracking force with a stylus gauge if you haven't. Then increase the tracking force to 2.2 if you need to.
A common slight warp in the record, with the stylus going up and down with the warp and staying in the groove, and if you can't hear it then it's fine.

The AT-LP3 will require balancing the tonearm and setting the tracking force and anti-skate. However it should be at least a bit easier or more clear about how to do it than the C6. Setup video. Then optionally double check with a digital stylus gauge. A protractor is not required unless you will be changing cartridges.
The AT-LP60X lacks adjustable tracking force however it is easy setup beginner plug and play, there is no balancing of the tonearm and setting the tracking force.
