things to worry about is how many rooms are you feeding?
you don't want to use unpowered splitters with many connections they can rob you of a lot of signal... so if you have even like an 4 port unpowered splitter you can be losing more than 50% of your signal like this one https://www.amazon.com/Antronix-CMC2004H-Horizontal-Splitter-Performance/dp/B07T3HK342 or if you have a splitter and then a run of coax and then another splitter to feed another 2 rooms it is just as bad
so first thing is
where is that amp? is it up in the attic? is it in the house?
how many tvs are your feeding?
what kind of splitters / number of ports .. and are you daisy chaining splitters to get the coax to the rooms?
the best deal would be to have a preamp amplifier at the antenna then use a powered distribution amplifier
BUT you probably don't need a preamp at the antenna.. you probably just need a distribution amplifier.

that would take a wire from the antenna to the in port .. and send signal to 4 tvs in the home
also make sure your antenna is pointed correctly... use a compass app on your phone and make sure its pretty close to 165 magnetic... the long poles are the back of the antenna the short are the front... for pointing.
what type of setup are you looking to put in?
with a roof or attic antenna I would point it towards 84degrees magnetic and your stronger stations from other directions should come in without a problem
I would use a full sized antenna like a RCA 3036wz so that you can get VHF Stations Better

and I would use a preamplifier like the CM7777HD that is adjustable gain.. most likely you can use it on 30db setting but if not you have the option to drop back to 17db
then if you have a number of TVs in the house use a distribution amplifier to take the single wire from the antenna and feed it to the rest of the rooms.
