Pros: It sounds decent (I use it on streams), it's only 17 dollars, and it's a lapel mic so you don't have to worry about knocking it over or anything. It's also by Sony and they're a good brand, and I have abused it a lot when I got it (stepped on it, stood up when still clipped, etc)
Cons: The cord is short-ish. Also, you have to remember to take it off every time you leave the desk.
sorry i am making another comment, but do you think this set up would work:
Sony ECMCS3 > 1/8 extension > TRRS adaptor > Android phone
I am asking because we might be able to get someone to donate the Sony ECMCS3 and adaptor, so we would only need to spend around $15-20 to buy the extension
