I would recommend this whiteout build instead and you can get this CPU/motherboard/RAM combo from the Microcenter at Marietta.

  • CPU + motherboard + RAM: If you want Intel, the value in the Microcenter bundle is unbelievable. The 13700K has excellent gaming performance, almost equal to the 13900K without needing to pay that exorbitant amount of money. It is also excellent for streaming thanks to its large number of cores and integrated graphics with the Quicksync encoder. The motherboard is nothing fancy, but it has white heatsinks to match the theme, Wifi and Bluetooth on board, 7 USB ports and a Type C, and thermals aren't as tragic as I expected... overall, it's good value in the combo deal. Also includes 32GB of 6000MHz-CL36 RAM that's on the QVL list for the motherboard and Intel XMP-compatible.

  • CPU cooler: The Thermalright Frost Commander 140, which you can buy on Amazon right here, is a massive cooler and one of the best on the market right now. It's also white, which nicely matches your desired theme, and has Noctua-equalling or Noctua-exceeding performance for like half the price. The RAM is low-profile so this cooler should not pose any problem with clearance.

  • SSD: The WD SN770 is a great choice for both being a boot drive and gaming, for only $110 you get a fast PCIE 4.0 SSD with 5500mbps speeds and a good endurance to boot. You won't even notice the lack of Dram as the proprietary WD controller makes up for that with HMB. The build is already slightly over budget ($3000 but the $13 for shipping takes it over...) but if you have another $20 to spare, I highly recommend the Solidigm P44 Pro for $130, it's pretty much the best PCIE 4.0 SSD on the market right now and for this price, it should be a no-brainer.

  • GPU: The best GPU on the market right now, the RTX 4090 should trample over all those games especially at 1440p. You also get all the Nvidia goodies like RTX, DLSS, and NVENC for out-of-the-box compatibility with OBS. Just went with the cheapest model as it doesn't matter too much and a white GPU will cost much more.

  • Case: The Fractal Pop Air is a steal for only $50 (well, $63, thanks to the shipping cost). It's a very aesthetically-pleasing white case with lots of room for large GPUS (400mm+), great airflow from the mesh front, and 3 good quality Fractal fans. The build quality is also good because it's Fractal.

  • PSU: This is a white PSU with white cables to match the theme, but that's not why I chose it. It's very high quality with great reviews and should really be Tier A when the tier list is updated the next time. It's ATX 3.0, comes with a native 12VHPWR cable so that you don't have to fiddle with adapters for the 4090, it's one of the quietest 1000W PSUs on the market, and comes with a 10-year warranty.

  • Monitor: Tbh my first pick for 1440p 240Hz is definitely the Gigabyte M27Q-X, but it seems like it's no longer being sold, which is a pity. Nevertheless, the Samsung G7 in this list is a great monitor for $500 too. It's got great contrast and is very fast with good colors, only thing against it for me is that it's curved, which I dislike. Here's the HardwareUnboxed review of it.
