You've been so helpful. I feel bad asking more questions, but I think this should finish off my setup and have me shooting as soon as they arrive! Since this Bipod is Picatinny, it should be compatible with the field and target right? Would you recommend a particular Bipod for sighting in the rifle, or is going somewhat cheap okay for the Bipod? CVLIFE 6-9 Inches Bipod Picatinny Bipod with Adapter
Also I'm looking at these pellets until the JSBs are back in stock on pyramydair: Crosman Premier Lead Pellets (500-Count) (Hollow .22)
i think the cheapest break barrel .22 you can find will do the trick.
i have shot 1500+ rounds with my benjamin prowler 22 i got for $99 delivered on sale, after i finally got rid of the scope, i started loving it so much i bought a second break barrel last night off amazon on sale for $84
uramex syrix .22 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08SHQFG66/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 its still on sale $84
and you can get 2 cans of 500 pellets ($6/ea) for about 102 delivered https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006O74XQ0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 best deal on pellets too.
that uramex has me excited, it is rated at 24 fpe foot pounds of energy deliver, my prowler is rated at 21. the uramex has some kick ass iron sights on it too, fiber optic. and it has true elevation adjustment with your fingers and not a screwdriver. it also has a TNT gas piston and not a spring like all "modern" break barrels. it comes with a scope, but im just going to assume its trash for now.
anyhow, for $102 in this day and age is a steal to get a new breakbarrel and a thousand rounds of ammo.
i insist that my rifle has iron sights to work with, you can have problems with anything from a bent barrel from quality control or over cranking the barrel a little over time will bend/warp the barrel down. (this can be corrected)
i would not buy any of the break barrels with magazines, ive read bad reviews about the loading mechanisms and they block line of sight for HAVING ANY iron sights.
most rifles come with a scope, they usually suck so bad that it can ruin the shooting experience, they wont hold zero, you have to adjust everytime you havent shot in awhile.
anyhow, i hope that might help you or someone else that likes deals!
