I just upgraded to the same UniTak3D direct drive kit and it works great. It comes with an extension cable so you won't need to buy one if you get the kit. I am also running dual 4010 blowers and decided to go with this "Ender 7 style" shroud which has been working well. The shroud comes with a BL-Touch mount but it didn't work with my CR-Touch. I therefore just used the metal mount from my CR-Touch but ran into two issues, one the bulge of the CR-Touch would rub on one of the fans, so I gently sanded down the bulge on my CR-Touch. And second the metal bracket I used put the CR-Touch too far to the left which cause it to hit the housing of the x-limit switch. I could have just notched the original x-limit housing but decided to print this x-limit extender housing and notch it before printing.
As far as the BMG clones, be careful as they are not all created the same. The first one I bought was the UniTak3D version and it was a nightmare to try to feed filament. I literally had to loosen the tension, open the unit, feed the filament and then tighten the tension again. I know that's not how a BMG works so I returned the unit and got the GO-3D Prints version which is the TriangeLabs version clone and works exactly like a BondTech BMG.
I originally purchased the Unitak3D but ended up returning it. It worked fine once fed but to feed filament I had to open the door and guide the filament before it worked. I know from having a Bondtech BMG at work that this is NOT how its supposed to be. Therefore I returned it and splurged with the GO-3D Print Store (Triangle Labs) unit. It's PERFECT!
