I just got the generic Arduino One CNC breakout board. Works great, doesn't cost allot and you can manually adjust the output amps. And it does has 4 drivers so you can clone one to use 2 driver boards for one axle.

There is also a version with DRV 8825 motor drivers. These can handle a higher amps.
