A normal low-profile in-use cover or one of Arlington 's horizontal boxes would certainly be your easiest choices, but it doesn't sound like that's what you want.

I doubt they make a deeper step for siding, but you could probably still get a similar look with a properly sized mounting block and the appropriate Arlington box. It might require cutting out some siding to install, but you'd be doing that anyways. Any time I need one, we usually have carpenters on-hand to make some from lumber, so I'm not sure how the store-bought ones end up looking though.
