I had this same problem when ordering from Amazon (I'm in the US though). I ordered this battery from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LD7S6YQ. When I received it, the battery was at 28% battery and never charged, even though it showed the "Charging" icon. I tried the same things that you did too, in addition I did a recovery boot of the phone. Eventually the battery completely died through my various testing, and I had to put the old battery back it to get my phone to work. I then had the battery replaced from the same seller at Amazon, and the second battery worked perfect. It arrived with a charge of 51%, and everything went as planned. The only downside is that I opened the back case so much during the last week that I broke some of the tabs on it. Hope this helps.
There's this one, and the only shipping option is 43 dollars and however FLIPPIN EXPENSIVE that is, it would come sometime in the first two weeks of october... http://www.ebay.com/itm/141674294876
This one Amazon blocks the shipping from US because it's electronics... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LD7S6YQ?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_1&smid=AUJEVHB99RGQ
I've been on this issue for hours now, everytime I find something nice (looks legit, doesn't cost an arm): - it doesn't ship to Canada, or - the shipping cost is tremendous, or - it takes an awful lot of time to arrive (eventhough I only go for Canadian or US sellers)
Mine looked just like what you see in the first image here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LD7S6YQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It didn't say LG on it (I specifically looked for that) and it also showed a 2013 manufacture date -- slight earlier than my original battery actually.
