Yes I did! I love wheatgrass shots so I thought why not. Especially after reading that book.

I’m so glad it’s filling in! Hair loss happens so fast. I do, it is miniaturized. I think because you’re using rosemary it should be pushing them out for stronger hair! I’m losing a lot too which never happened before. It’s very weird.

Omg yes it’s amazing. I have curly hair so it’s super picky. This is only the second time I used it. I was just using it for scalp irritation but my hair just looks more plump and healthy. I was trying to figure out what changed this week but that’s the only thing in my hair care regimen that’s different. It has phenomenal reviews. It is a DHT blocker as well.I also use raw curls conditioner which is natural.

Good luck with your appointment. I think it is only spearmint tea that has the anti-androgen effect. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/19585478/

A change in your cycle is a huge sign you are on the right track! Yay!

For me early changes of IR reducing were less hunger, cravings, skin tags going way, skin less oily and pores smaller, less hirsutism, belly weight shifting even w/o a change in scale, etc. I had to drop my carbs down to 20g total a day or less to see change, I think I had been IR for much of my life, even when thin. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L3XSF65/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 Now, a few years later I can have a bit more flexibility, my metabolic health has gotten a lot better.

Hair is a lagging symptom bc growth cycles are so long. It can take up to 6 months to see regrowth, but I did see changes in other IR symptoms much more quickly, including better moods. The typical dose of inositol for PCOS is 4g per day divided into 2 doses, for mental health and mood it is 12-18g per day divided into 2 doses. At the beginning I sometimes took somewhere in between. Adding choline is supposed to boost the hair benefits http://msfullhair.com/inositol-for-hair-loss-adding-choline-makes-it-extra-powerful/

Do you have signs of an unhealthy scalp? If so, check out r/SebDerm It has high insulin and high androgens as the drivers, so overlaps with PCOS, sometimes with seeming autoimmune component, too. It is an additional cause of hair loss. There are 2 treatments that pop up in the automod there, one uses raw honey on the scalp, the other MCT oil, I have older relatives who each had success with one of those. There are also common trigger foods, if you google that and seb derm or look at the sub there are lists. For me, cinnamon and some nightshades were big triggers, it would look like I had dipped my head in oil.

I did not have luck with medicated shampoos unfortunately, did not help my scalp and left hair like straw. Someone on here suggested this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01ENCBOA0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L3XSF65/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 which were good.

I know people have recommended peppermint and rosemary oils on here, there might be suggestions re: that at r/sebderm too, or you might want to try the MCT oil or honey.

Good luck and please come back with updates!

It's seb derm, there is a sub for it. The drivers are usually high insulin and high androgens, so overlaps w/PCOS. Focusing on those with diet changes, supplements and spearmint tea helped my seb derm and my PCOS - keto/LC, IF so insulin had time to fall and stay low, inositol and 2 cups a day of spearmint tea. More on high insulin and inositol here http://www.tuitnutrition.com/2019/06/pcos.html

There are also common trigger foods for seb derm, you might want to experiment and see if they impact you, for me, cinnamon and some nightshades are issues. Google and r/sebderm should give you most common ones.

Some believe that seed oils are a big factor in seb derm, so cutting down on processed food can help, also r/stopeatingseedoils. Seed oils also contribute to IR, so cutting benefits PCOS too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVqDO3PSeG0

Medicated shampoos did not help me, scalp was no better and they made hair like straw. I found these, suggested on this sub, helpful. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01ENCBOA0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L3XSF65/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Some people have seb derm on face or even inside ears. Some products may contribute. More on that at r/sebderm. Good luck!
