Surfaces depreciate faster than stale bread, and better to buy a Good/Excellent used sp6 and break 2 for the price of 1.

(Ie. If you buy new $1k then drop and break it, you gotta fork out another $1k = $2k total for 2 new sp6. Instead $400 used, break one, total only $800 spent. $2000-$800 =$1200 = ya Spring Break vacation trip money.)
