The 25th Anniversary Edition doesn't actually alter the film, you're actually talking abut Ghost in the Shell 2.0. GitS 2.0 alters some of the scenes, but the Anniversary edition doesn't do anything beside remastering the footage in HD. The Anniversary Edition is the original version, don't confuse it with GitS 2.0
