otherwise you wont be able to close the case once you put the GPU in. The cable the card comes with is very stiff and hard to work with.

Thanks mate. Does this look right? https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Premium-600W-12VHPWR-Cable/dp/B0BLY1B362 . If my research is correct the RMx should be a type 4 power supply. Any "gotchas" I should have awareness of? I have half a mind just to replace with a 1600 watt supply but don't want to go through the pain of routing all the cables and tidying everything up again.
