UPDATE: I went ahead and bought the Method Wireless BT earbuds and have been using it for a week now. If you are one of those lucky ones who are comfortable wearing earbuds, these work great! The best part is that the controls are on the neckband which rests around your neck. I have been able to easily tuck it under my jacket. The buttons need a firm push to work so no accidental volume ups/ down or pausing music.

It does a pretty decent job of noise cancellation as well. I didn't have to max out the volume (like I was used to doing while using the apple earpods). It's definitely a good value for money (at just under $40). Have to wait and see how long they last.
