This year I saw a real live octopus in the wild. It was when I was snorkeling off the beach in cozumel. I love sea creatures so all the sea life so easily accessible was amazing but the octopus was definitely the highlight. They are normally nocturnal so seeing one out in the open during the day was very lucky. We saw one more during the trip but he was tucked away in his little cave.
