Yes. So after doing some cursory reading on the topic I started with this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C57DJ2N8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I found mixed reports and some even saying they may have harmed themselves with the kind of jaw exercises that sit on the front of the mouth, as opposed to the pairs that sit near the back of your mouth while you chew like these. Which makes a lot of sense. We're not evolved to chew like that.
Unfortunately, the pair I bought above were the ones that started to tear. So I contacted the merchant and got my money back, and I found the same pair on eBay for much less. (https://www.ebay.com/itm/374673759860?var=643671489598)
After doing more reading I found they all eventually break, they're just not as durable as they should be, so I changed my approach. I bought a couple of them with the same money from eBay, and I've found I can make them last by doing static holds instead of constantly chewing. I basically bite down on them and hold that position against the resistance of the exerciser. Using it like that has gotten me similar benefit without degrading them as much.
Hope this helps
