I too am waiting on the Amazon delivery gods for a few things before I start my first set.

One way I'm trying to reduce waste is by using silicone mixing cups for the resin. I really l liked that this set comes with stirring sticks so I can hopefully avoid using a bunch of tongue depressors as well. These mixing cups haven't come in yet so I can't comment on their usefulness or quality.

I also got a silicone baking mat to do all my resin mixing and pouring on. In case of spills, I should be able to either pour the resin into another mold (like a dice-box mold) or just let it harden then peel it off. I've seen people using wax paper or regular hobby mats (and ruining them when they spill). I'm hoping that the silicone mat will be a good work surface. It arrived today and I kinda wish I had ordered a larger one, but I think it will function as a decent work surface.

I haven't found a way around using pipettes, unfortunately, so I think those will be my main source of waste.

I have seen people use painter's tape or rubberbands to hold their molds together. I have also seen that rubber bands can deform the molds and misshape the dice. I am going to try and make my molds in small paper cups (hopefully biodegradable). Rybonator uses dixie cups to make molds in one of his videos. He then uses another dixie cup with the top cut out to hold the mold together. It seems to work really well for him. I'm hoping to use the same method and to be able to reuse the dixie cup multiple times.

Basically, I have tried to get as many silicone items as I can to replace plastic. Have you thought of any other ways to reduce waste?
