There is an “upgraded” NanoVNA for $5 more.

I got this one in April which I think was listed as an official reseller on Amazon. I tried to track back to the original creators of this thing and buy from a recommend source which this was. I don't remember the long trail I followed to confirm but I did the work.

This is the nano vna I purchased. It can do way more than you would need but is one of the cheapest best options I've found for testing antennas. I'm fairly new myself but this has been a game changer. Your ground plane antenna the legs should be angled downwards at 45ish degree angles. I'd say keep at it. I have a couple crazy looking antennas but they work. I'm listening to Airbender today on a crappy flat TV antenna from thrift store. Idk if you need to be spot on for receiving signals but I'm sure being close helps. Keep at it and enjoy. I would try a basic dipole myself and try to get it as high as possible and out in open air. I've noticed anything near my antennas will drastically change its swr.
