Alright I'll give the super soft/light touch next time. I go with the grain. The rest of the face doesn't seem to have this problem but like 10% as often I do knick myself somewhere along the neck.

I'm looking at getting a single blade razor, too. Would you recommend something like this or something like my current 3 blade gillette but just single bladed?

Though I get the impression it wouldn't shave closely enough above the lip to be rid of the patchy perve stash.
