canes are nice to start with, they can help you learn what helps and what things you need more support with! this was my first cane https://www.amazon.com/BeneCane-Adjustable-Cushioned-Lightweight-Collapsible/dp/B08BYG7Y2Y/ref=mp_s_a_1_8?crid=10NU8P4D2ZA5Z&keywords=benecane&qid=1678589186&sprefix=benecane%2Caps%2C1175&sr=8-8
a cane with four "feet" may also be a better option for stability and stuff/really leaning on it. they also make canes with seats!
you could also look into a rollator, a lot of rollators fold for storage, and are nice bc you have a seat to go with you everywhere! I would just check craigslist or facebook marketplace for a rollator because they almost always have some.
I have a pair of smartcrutches https://smartcrutch.com/ but more for fatigue and muscle weakness, they are kinda bulky but help that i always have something to lean on basically and help keep me steady
ultimately i want to get a wheelchair and have seen a lot of people with POTS have this one https://www.foldandgowheelchairs.com/ but it's going to be a bit before i can get it due to the cost and needing a ramp built to enter my apartment first. i have also seen this https://feathermobility.com/products/featherweight-power-chair-33-lbs and this https://www.ezlitecruiser.com/ as common ones, they are both lighter than the Fold & Go but can't go up as steep of inclines and i'm not sure how they do in rain? maybe they are fine but idk.
