I think it's a fake picture. I suspect the boltcutters would have suffered a LOT more damage.

So back to the original question --
It seems like $40 "bullnose" or "rounds" or "Bulldog" cutters (of any brand) are not well liked by anyone here, and a ratcheting cable cutter is the preferred solution to anything you can't cut with dykes.
Definitely NOT bolt cutters, LOL.
At $200 and up, not a cheap date! For you pro's, I realize that's not a big investment for something you do all the time.
As a DIY, I only infrequently have to deal with "fat" wires. Anyone regularly use one of these strippers?

I always end up stripping fat stuff with a utility knife & damn near hurting myself.
