I own this bathroom scale. I 10/10 would buy this scale again.
For a food scale, this one is most popular in /r/loseit and has a great price on it right now...
Yay! So happy for you! I LOVE my spiralizer and use my scale at least once a day! This is the scale I have - it's simple and gets the job done.

It’s awesome. Can weigh up to 11lbs and seems well made. Been using mine 2 years and haven’t even changed the batteries!
I use a cheap one off Amazon. I also use it to weigh my Etsy packages lol! It’s pretty accurate since I have to make sure my shipping labels are accurate. Here’s what I have Ozeri ZK14-S Pronto Digital Multifunction Kitchen and Food Scale, Black, 8.25 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004164SRA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_TR0SA3ZX2F5CCFG0HANB?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
This is the one I've used: https://www.amazon.com/Ozeri-ZK14-S-Digital-Multifunction-Kitchen/dp/B004164SRA
I already had it for measuring food while counting calories and its worked great with my pitcher.
Its not expensive, but it is always accurate:

My last one I bought in 2014 and its still going strong. I just did the dollar test for accuracy to the gram and it passed. I love that little scale. lol
I've been using this one for a few years.

You can get a kitchen scale for less than $10
Sure! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004164SRA It's accurate, small, and really easy to use. And for the just under $14 total price it comes with batteries.
This digital scale! https://smile.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004164SRA/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I lost 70 lbs eating mostly pre portioned foods. I got this so that I can trust myself to portion out things like grilled chicken. I mostly use it to weigh cheetos, and liquids. I weighed one ruffle the other day but it just keeps me honest, so I don't second guess the numbers I put into My Fitness Pal.
I've had this scale by Ozeri for years now and it still works perfectly. I got another flat glass top one by Ozeri too but much prefer the actual buttons on this one.
The only products related to my diet that I've ever purchased from Amazon were sodium citrate to use in making simple cheese sauces, and a food scale to ensure I'm eating within my macros. I swear by both of them.
ETA: and my air fryer!!
I've been using this one since 2013, love it.
Food scale? I have this one from Ozeri. It's cheap, works well, and I got it in a color to match my kitchen haha. Any scale should be just fine, but I would avoid ones with flat touch buttons, makes it really hard to change units or tare.
Bathroom scale- I just got this one and it's working well so far! It has some 'accuracy check' function to it, which might just be marketing, but I've found it really accurate so far. I can weigh myself multiple times in a row and it always comes up with the same number. Looks nice in my bathroom also, if that matters to you!

That's the one we got, but really, any one will do.
Same one I have. I love it. Bought it to replace the Etekcity 11lb Digital Food scale which was glitching out on me. The Ozeri is simple, cheap and perfect. No complaints.
I have the Ozeri Pronto scale which I find to be very accurate to the gram/mL. I purchased it based on the "Best Kitchen Scales" review by the Wirecutter (it was their best budget pick) a few months ago and find it useful for basically everything, from cooking to making Ketochow to making sure I'm putting exactly 30mL of cream/half and half in my coffee every morning :)
I use this one and it's great. It has a tare function so you can measure a lot of things on one plate/bowl by just taring then adding the new food item. Calorie counting is the key to a lot of people's weight loss, and it's nearly impossible to accurately count calories without a food scale.
2) I track my calories using myfitnesspal. I don't eat back my exercise calories nor do I track them.
3) My SO and I tend to cook for ourselves. But myfitnesspal has a recipe category and you can determine the number of calories per serving (I usually weigh all the ingredients raw then weigh the total amount after everything has been cooked, and divide by ounces for # of servings - sounds complicated but it's easy with a food scale). Using this method it would be really easy to know how many cals per ounce a meal is,so you would know how many extra servings to give your SO to account for the TDEE difference.
The kitchen scale that has been 1st or 2nd cheapest on Amazon for years switches effectlessly between grams and milliliters.
I've been using this scale. It is also cheap but it has served me well.
I have this scale purchased from Amazon in the US. Hopefully you can find it!
