Went with Goal Zero for my initial portable solar setup. Yeti 400, Nomad 20 panel, and their large torch which is all fine for weekend camping or short term power outages, but I need to upgrade for anything longer term.
The 20 watt panel was the largest folding panel they had available when I bought and I liked it being small enough to be practical for use on it's own (adds about 1.5lbs to a bugout bag and footprint isn't huge, but definitely not small), and can be chained to other panels to get in the "somewhat" practical range for the Yeti. Even with 2 of them chained though you're still talking days to fully charge, but it's better than nothing.
I wish solar tech was to the point of offering a quality ultra portable solar charger that would fit in an EDC bag though. As it is, the only thing I found (last year) was this cheap 10000mAh one that is just 'ok' at best: Hobest Solar Charger https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G9TLJGQ/
It's a tad too big for my EDC, so I keep it in a bug out bag, and also take it with on day hikes. I have a compact Anker power bank for EDC, and should work perfect with the Olight charger.
You NEED some sort of device to charge your phone that doesn't rely on another power source. Last year was my first year and me and my friends brought a battery that hooked to a car battery and charged our phones. It worked for the first day until the cars started dying then it just stopped progressively over the weekend. Come the end of the week I had to keep my phone off and could only use it to call people if I really couldnt find them. It wasn't fun and I couldnt take pictures all week. The charge stands weren't the best. As a samsung user none of them had fast charge which means standing in the sun for hours as I wait for my unsecured phone to charge. I reccomend something like this. Not having your phone can really suck. Of course it didnt ruin my weekend but it did make a couple disappointments when I wanted to take a picture or record cool visuals at a show and didnt have the opportunity to do so.
