I bought this one from Amazon for $35.99 to replace a much more expensive, medical grade one that insurance had paid for many years ago - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D58V8LD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I was surprised at how well it works and I like that fact that it's really easy to recharge. The old one I had worked on a rechargeable 9-volt battery (it was really old) and was much bigger. This one is very streamlined and has a lot of settings. It has a strong pulse (or whatever you call it) and I rarely take it above 3, but could go way higher if I wanted to.

A good one costs Like $20-$30. Don’t spend more than $40 unless it’s the wireless one i link later in my post. The real cost is tens pads which you need to be careful with. Here’s a link to a wired one that’s good and has like a 10 hour battery, color screen with tons of mods, and a rechargeable me battery. I really like it. AUVON Dual Channel TENS Unit Muscle. tens machine, 20 modes. It’s kind of expensive at $36, but there’s the same model with only 16 modes for $30. I think the extra 10 or so bucks is worth it to get one like this. Most apply to 4 places, like this one. You get two pads connected to each electrode so you can have 2 separate levels of intensity and mode on. I also like how it comes with a little plastic thing to put the pads on when not in use that’s more convenient than the plastic piece pads come on. That helps it stay dust free and last longer.

For pads I recommend this one. Best price I’ve found and the pads are sticky forever, way better than even way more expensive pads I’ve tried form bigger tens unit brands. tens unit pack, set of 48 for $19 amazon it also charges through usb and standard micro usb.

If you want something portable I recommend this one. It’s completely wireless and is easy to have on for hours under a shirt in public and super easy to throw on before going out or for use at home. wireless tens unit amazon It can also be controlled through Bluetooth on your phone through their pretty good app which is awesome. While it’s expensive the important thing is unlike other wireless tens units it uses standard pads. It’s the pads that long term cost the most just like printer ink. It has some issues like the battery life is like an hour and a half and it turns off every 20-30 minutes but it’s just a couple couple presses on an app to turn it back on. It also charges through usb and a standard micro usb. Here’s a link to the best pads at the best price on amazon for this wireless tens unit. tens pads for wireless tens machine. Also don’t get this or other brands tens pads their usually not bad overpriced and last like half as long as this brands tend units.

I recommend checking out YouTube videos and reading the Manuel for tips on where to put it to relieve pain. I really hope you get a tens machine and that it helps, it’s really been a godsend for me and amazing!
