Hi Everyone! I wrote a romance book inspired very loosely by Frankenstein's monster (I wanted him to have his happy ending). The story has an atmospheric vibe as well as a cottagecore aesthetic. My major inspirations are works from Robin McKinley and Peter S. Beagle, and I hope I managed to convey the lyrical and fairy tale feel.

[High Fantasy Romance]
(friends to lovers, mutual pining, angst, emotional scars, ugly MMC, MMC that is disliked by others, complicated emotions)
Nykalia has walked through life, unwanted and hurt by everyone she trusted. After facing yet another betrayal by her mentor, she fearfully runs away, venturing into the mysterious wyldwoods where others fear to tread. There, she discovers the unexpected: a mysterious masked man who is willing to help her. But does she dare to trust again?
Quill has been cursed by the wyld. The malevolent woods have turned him into something repulsive to all. He spends his day trying to help those in need so they might avoid his fate. But when he saves a woman, her kindness chips away at his walls: walls that should never come down.
Can the two of them ever learn to trust one another? Or will the pain of the past tear down the fragile bond they have built?
