I have a pot rack with big metal hooks for hanging my pots. I’ve never noticed any significant damage to the enamel as a result.

ETA: To give you an idea if the size of my hooks, they seem similar to these. I know this won’t work for you, but I wanted to show that I’m using something thick, not a thin little S hook on my pot rack.
