Thinking it's in your remote. Just because one function on it sort of works doesn't mean thee rest isn't screwed up. You can get an aftermarket remote for $6.48. When I saw how cheap these were I bought several. The original remotes that came with my TVs have all fallen apart. These have all the functions.

I have 2 Vizio TV's. The remotes that came with them fell apart. Found these on Amazon for $6.48. I bought several. They worked on an older one that went bad. Works fine with the new one I just bought.
