As I didn’t wanna go to clothing stores/thrift shops as much as possible postop, I did online shopping and it was trickier than I initially thought. I’m petite and have a plus-sized waist but the rest of my legs was either medium or large depending on the company. Hoodies were also a weird fit, surprisingly enough: my brother’s medium/large hoodies didn’t pinch my abdomen as much as my medium/large hoodies.
I’ve had more success in terms of fit with leggings at Old Navy compared to Amazon. The Old Navy high-waisted leggings kept my waist tucked in but didn't press uncomfortably against it. Old Navy has a lot of online sales and there’s cute summer dresses on clearance too. I purchased a couple of "regular" jeans and jeggings from Old Navy which are being delivered; if those "regular" but stretchy jeans don't work, I’ll try maternity jeans/pants next.
The two joggers I purchased on Amazon are comically huge, but if you’re over 5’4” there may be non-crop leggings that work there for you. I've had success with No Nonsense cotton/poly tights when I wanted a less spandex-y and more loungey option but still fit my waist and didn't look too huge on my legs.
