Wow, thank you for the whole list. This is a great list of things to get.

I was planning on getting the furminator to help with their shedding.

I do have a few questions that I'm still unsure about if you don't mind answering. Mostly it is the early age of when to start.

  1. When you got your puppy, when did you start taking him out on walks? From what I been reading, you won't take him out until he is vaccinated?
  2. When did you start clipping his nails, getting him use to showers, grooming, and brushing his teeth(and how often?).
  3. As a puppy, you're suppose to let them sleep for 16 hours? Would you have small training sessions/exercise and then try and let him sleep on his bed?

Thank you!

They have them on Amazon for cheap right now.

Medium is 29, large is slightly less. Make sure to select short hair:

What a happy and beautiful looking pack!

As far as the fur goes, you just have to brush them more often. I'd suggest investing in a furminator for your home-- they're $30 at Amazon.

Brush them with a normal brush 2-3 times a week and hit them with the furminator on weekends. (Outside, of course!)

Also, not sure if that GSD in the photo is yours or not, but if s/he is, they shed, too! Granted since my golden passed we have less tumblehairs rolling around, but there's definitely enough from our remaining shepherd mix that we have to keep up on brushing her more than once a week, too.
