I was using liquid iv and getting along fine, but now it’s giving me hives. Ugh! So on to plan Z.
The best thing I have found so far are theseketo chow fasting electrolyte drops. They’re made to support fasting if you’re on a keto diet but the nutritional profile was closer to what I wanted than a lot of other things. They don’t have the b vitamins that liquid iv does but my dr didn’t think that was necessary. The drops make whatever you use them in taste...salty. I guess that’s expected. :) The easiest way to get them in is actually in soup—I do soup for lunch fairly often and hardly notice.
Otherwise I add them to water or whatever beverage is working at the moment. I had to work my way up to full strength. I do add a little sugar if it’s something that has no carbohydrates.
