It's currently up on the site for BotW Wii U. Next year can't come fast enough.
I pre-ordered mine for Wii U on November 30th. Back then it had the release date as end of March. When the news came out about it actually being released on March 3rd, it still said for my order that it would be released end of March. That's when I contacted Amazon. Here's what they said back on February 13th:
"I understand your concern regarding order #_ that the Estimated delivery date has been showing too late from the release date.
I've checked the product detail page on Amazon.com, and it looks like "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is not currently eligible for Release-Date Delivery.
We only offer the Release-Date Delivery option when we know we can get the item from our suppliers in time to meet our delivery promise to you. It's possible that this item will become eligible as the release date gets closer and we've confirmed our inventory.
At this time, I can only suggest that you keep checking the item's detail page on our website:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KWF803C
However, I've reviewed your comment and understand that you are not getting this item as per Two day shipping.
In this case to help you with this I've raised ticket and contact our fulfillment department to resolve this issue.
*** In order to serve you better with this, I'll follow this order and once it is get resolve and it shows correct estimated date then will send you an email after the changes.
I hope this helps! We look forward to seeing you again soon."
Then there's this from two days ago:
"We're writing about the order you placed on November 30, 2016. The item(s) you ordered is not yet released. We will notify you of a specific delivery date when one is available."
"If your shipment arrives too late, you may either refuse delivery or return it to us for a refund."
Guys I have a question. The breath of wild listing on amazon says it will be released December 30. I thought it was going to release at the same time as the NX. What did I misunderstand?
EDIT: Amazon link
EDIT 2: It's just a placeholder, and I'm an idiot.
