I would never sell a client 1 at close to list price (VAR with HP for networking partnership here). But that's besides the point.
The point here is how they get those crazy cheap prices. This switch (https://www.amazon.com/HP-JL256A-Aruba-2930F-Switch/dp/B01HPKW13Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1546541939&sr=8-1&keywords=2930F) is lower priced than ANY registered re-seller can sell for and make a profit. The ONLY way to get that price is to get a large deal and register it and request special pricing on many units. You can't sell one off's that way on Amazon.
Which means its registered to another end user so if you buy it, it won't have a warranty for anyone but originally registered end user. Now will someone be lucky and call in for support and not be asked what company you are calling for, sure, happens to me from time to time. But if they do verify the company your warranty claim will be denied.
