I was in the same situation as you, with a gift card I didn't really know what to do with. I'm also really only into white tea and puerh, so I hope I can help?

For puerh, I thought this one was pretty good. It's got an old wood/forest floor sort of taste, not very complex at all, but I'm genuinely happy with it and am sort of considering buying it again someday.

For white tea, I tried this silver needle and its honestly pretty great. Very fruity and floral. It's surprisingly good. Tiesta tea was how i first got into loose leaf teas, so it's weird having a tin of it again...

I also got a cheap Lao cha tou that I can't recommend at all, but those other two surprised me for amazon tea. I know the puerh isn't nicely pressed and aged stuff, but I was afraid of buying a whole cake only to find that I hated it... it seemed like a safer bet to buy a tin of loose leaf like that, and it was. It's pretty good.
